I used to think The Agency Deal was one of those contracts you only ran with a crew, then I watched two strangers sprint into bad angles and ruin the whole thing in under a minute. Since then, I've preferred doing it alone. It's slower, sure, but it's cleaner. Players who already know their way around builds, cash, and gear from things like GTA 5 Modded Accounts will still need proper prep here, because this job punishes lazy planning. Before launching the finale, get the schematic photos done and pick up the security pass. Don't leave loose ends on the board. Once that setup work is handled, the mission feels a lot less chaotic, and you're not gambling on someone else's patience or aim.
Prep makes the building less painful
The IAA building isn't hard because it's confusing once you know it. It's hard because it gives you very little room to be careless. As soon as you enter, put the mask on and settle down. Don't rush the first few rooms just because the opening seems manageable. The place changes pace fast. One moment you're in an office space with decent cover, then you're stuck near a doorway with guards pushing from two angles. I like to move desk to desk, stop, listen, then clear the next slice of the room. It sounds boring, but it saves armour. Corners matter here. So do stairwells. If you barge up or down them without checking, someone usually clips you before you can react.
Use cover like you actually mean it
A lot of players treat cover as a quick animation before they start spraying again. That's a bad habit in this contract. The guards hit hard, and they don't stand around waiting to be picked off. Use the thick pillars, crates, office dividers, and anything that blocks a clean line of fire. Pop out for short bursts. Drop one or two targets, then tuck back in. If your health dips, don't pretend you can tough it out. Open the interaction menu and eat snacks right away. Same with armour. Replace it before the next push, not after you're already flashing red. The interrogation room objective itself isn't the nightmare. Getting back out while more enemies flood the halls is where most solo runs fall apart.
The exit is where people get greedy
Once you've got the item, slow down for a second. That sounds wrong because the game is yelling at you to leave, but sprinting through uncleared space is how you get trapped. Work back through the building the same way you came in: cover, check, move. If enemies bunch up near the lobby, don't stand in the open trading shots. Shift position and make them walk into your aim. By the time you hit the street, your armour may be gone and your snacks may be low. That's normal. The mistake is trying to escape on the main roads while every hostile vehicle and cop line seems to find you at once.
Pick the tunnel route and keep it tidy
For the getaway, I'd rather bring a car that grips well than something that only looks fast on a straight road. Head for the underground tunnel network as soon as you can. Down there, line of sight breaks quickly, and the chase becomes much easier to manage. Don't panic if you scrape a wall or miss a turn; just keep moving and avoid flipping the car. Once the heat drops, come back up and drive to the client like you've still got something to lose. Plenty of players chase shortcuts, buy gear, or browse GTA 5 Accounts for sale for a head start, but this contract still comes down to calm movement, clean shooting, and not getting greedy near the end.
